About this policy
BrightTurn LLC, doing business as BrightTurn Works, runs this website. We help small and mid-sized businesses get found in AI search and automate everyday work. In this policy, “BrightTurn,” “we,” and “us” mean BrightTurn LLC.
This policy applies when you visit our website, fill out a form, book a call, call or text us, or when we contact you about our services. It also covers business contact details we find on public websites and listings.
Our website, including our FAQs, is meant for use in the United States.
If anything here is unclear, ask us. You can reach us using the details at the end.
Effective date: November 5, 2026. We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date shows when the current version took effect.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and do the work. Here is what that looks like.
- What you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, and anything you write to us. When you book a call, we also get the time you choose.
- Your text message choices. When and how you agreed to get texts, the exact wording you saw at the time, and any request to stop.
- Call information. The date and length of a call, and a recording and transcript if we told you we were recording (see “Calls and recordings”).
- Billing details. If you buy from us, your billing contact, your invoices, and what you paid. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles your payment, and we do not store your full card number.
- Information you share so we can do the work. If you hire us, you may give us access to accounts such as your business profile or website, along with business facts and photos. We use it only to do the work you asked for. We ask for access you control and can take back, not your passwords.
- Details from public sources. We look up businesses by hand on public websites, business listings, and directories. We may keep a business name, a person’s role, and a work email or phone number that was published there, so we can reach out about our services. We never guess at contact details. We also look at public information about your business, such as your website and listings.
- Information from your visit. Basic details about how you use our website, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location, collected through analytics (see “Cookies and tracking”).
How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Answer your questions and requests, deliver the work you asked for, and schedule calls.
- Provide and manage our services, and keep our records in order.
- Tell you about our services by email or phone, and by text only if you agree to marketing texts separately (see “Text messages”).
- Keep a record of what you agreed to, and honor it when you ask us to stop.
- Keep our website and services working and improve them.
- Protect against fraud and misuse, follow the law, and settle disputes.
We do not use your information for anything unrelated to these purposes.
Text messages
We text you only if you ask us to. There are two kinds of texts, and you choose each one on its own.
Texts about your request. If you give us your phone number and agree to texts, we use them to follow up on what you asked for. That includes confirming and reminding you about a booked call, answering a question, and delivering your results.
Marketing texts. These are tips, offers, and updates about our services. We send them only if you check a separate box that is never pre-checked. You do not have to check it to submit a form, book a call, or buy anything from us.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us. We also honor QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE, and any other reasonable request, such as replying to an email or calling us. Replying STOP also stops marketing from us by email and phone. We may send one last message to confirm.
Stopping only marketing. To stop marketing but keep messages about your request, use the marketing-preferences link in any marketing text or email. This stops marketing from us by text, email, and phone. Messages about your request continue.
Unsubscribing from email. Unsubscribing from our emails stops all marketing from us on every channel. Depending on how you unsubscribe, it may also stop other emails from us, such as audit results or appointment details. If you still want those by email, contact us at hello@brightturnworks.com.
Timing. We act right away on requests made by reply keyword, the marketing-preferences link, or an email unsubscribe. We act on other requests within 10 business days.
Starting again. If you stopped our texts and want them back, reply START or sign up again on our website. We will not text you again until you do. Replying START turns texts about your request back on. Marketing texts come back only if you check the marketing box again on one of our forms.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any text, or contact us using the details at the end of this policy.
What to expect. Texts about your request vary with your requests. Marketing texts are sent no more than 4 times per month. Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. We may use artificial intelligence to help write our texts.
What we do with your text information. We do not share your phone number or your text opt-in with third parties or affiliates (any other company, whether or not it is connected to us) for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share it with anyone for purposes unrelated to the texts you signed up for. We do share it with the providers that help us deliver texts, such as our messaging software and phone carriers. The sharing described in the rest of this policy does not include your text opt-in or consent, apart from those delivery providers. Your text choices apply only to BrightTurn.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We do not share it with other companies so they can market to you.
We do use outside companies to help us run BrightTurn. They handle your information only to do that job for us, and they may not use it for their own marketing:
- Software that runs our forms, booking, texting, email, and customer records.
- Phone and text carriers that deliver calls and messages.
- Hosting and website providers.
- Payment companies that process what you pay us.
- Tools that record, transcribe, or summarize calls, if we told you a call was being recorded.
- Professional advisors, such as our lawyers and accountants.
We use technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), to run our business and to work directly with the businesses we serve and hope to serve. Some of this technology comes from outside software providers. Those providers may handle personal information, such as contact details and call notes, but only to do that work for us. They may not use it for their own marketing, and we do not allow them to train AI models on it.
BrightTurn is part of a family of related companies. If you ask for something one of them provides, we may pass your request and contact details to that company so it can respond. That company handles your information under its own privacy policy. We do not share your information with related companies for their marketing, and your text choices with BrightTurn do not carry over to them.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or if BrightTurn is sold or merged with another business. In that case, we would ask the new owner to honor this policy.
Inside BrightTurn, only the people who need your information to do their work can see it.
Calls and recordings
We may record and transcribe calls, including with an AI note-taking tool, so our notes are accurate. We tell you at the start of every recorded call. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will turn the recording off.
Recordings and transcripts are kept in storage that BrightTurn controls, and only the people who need them can open them. See “Keeping your information” for how long we keep them.
Cookies and tracking
A cookie is a small file that a website saves on your device so it can remember you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of our site, such as booking, may not work without them.
Our website uses Google Analytics and the tracking tool in our customer software to count visits and see which pages people use, so we can keep the site working and improve it. After you submit a form, our customer software’s tracking can connect your visits to your contact record. We do not use advertising cookies or ad-platform tracking pixels, and we do not use your visit to show you ads on other sites.
We do not track you across other websites, so we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not allow advertising companies to collect information about your visit.
If you would rather not be counted, you can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. To learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services, see Google’s explanation.
Keeping your information
How long we keep it.
- If you have not been our client: contact details and message records for up to five years after we last had contact with you.
- If you are or were our client: your records for as long as we work together, plus seven years. If tax law requires us to keep billing records longer, we keep those records for the longer period.
- If you asked us to stop contacting you: we keep your contact record for as long as BrightTurn operates, so we can keep honoring your request.
- Records of what you agreed to, including consent to record calls: for as long as we keep your contact record.
- Call recordings and full transcripts: two years after the call. AI summaries of calls are kept with your contact record.
How we protect it. We limit access to the people who need it, and we use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection. If a problem affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You are in control of how we contact you and what we keep.
- Stop marketing. Tell us in any reasonable way, on any channel, or use the marketing-preferences link in any marketing text or email, and we will stop.
- See, fix, or delete your information. Email us and ask. We will tell you what we have, correct anything wrong, and delete what we can according to laws and regulations. We will respond within 45 days.
- What we may keep. Even after a deletion request, we keep the records we need to honor your opt-out, plus records the law requires us to keep, such as accounting records.
- Rights where you live. Some states give you additional privacy rights. We will honor the ones that apply to you.
We will not treat you differently for using any of these choices.
Other things to know
Work we do for clients. If we handle information about a client’s own customers as part of our work, that client’s privacy policy and our agreement with them govern it. This policy covers information about our own visitors, prospects, and clients.
Children. Our website and services are for businesses, not for anyone under 18. If we learn that a child sent us personal information, we will delete it.
Links to other sites. Our website may link to sites we do not run. We do not control them and are not responsible for how they handle your information. Please read their policies.
Changes. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change is material, meaning it changes what we collect, how we use or share it, or your choices, we will also email our clients and anyone who has opted in to hear from us. If a change affects how we text you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
